THE ART OF DOCUMENTARY STORYTELLING was a three-day interactive workshop designed for television professionals.
The workshop was broken into 3 sections:
The first covered the key elements of development and how to move from idea to proposal.
The second part focused on understanding the distinct structural components behind any good story and examining the editorial and technical crafts that transform that story into an engaging documentary (with special emphasis on writing and editing).
The third section explored the many techniques that can help you master the challenges of the major specialist factual genres: science, history, reality and presenter-led.
