About Us
MyDocs is a non-for profit association, first established in 2013 by a group of passionate documentary filmmakers from Malaysia who wanted create a more integrated network and platform for local filmmakers to grow and excel in the documentary industry.
We are dedicated to help local documentary filmmakers grow and expand their knowledge as well as give them opportunities to meet and work with industry experts both locally and internationally.

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to help create a bigger, more knowledgeable and more professional network of skilled documentary filmmakers in Malaysia as well as create greater opportunities to gain practical experience, network, pitch and find funding for their films both locally and internationally.
Our hope is that through creating a united network of likeminded professionals we will be able to collectively improve the state of the documentary filmmaking industry in Malaysia.
To achieve this, we work closely with many of our partners to organise workshops, film screenings, masterclasses, panel discussions, networking events as well as constantly share information on new funds and pitching sessions available in the region with our members.
Moving forward we hope to continue to be a voice for our local documentary industry and are excited to work with more organizations and partners around the world to further develop what we believe to be a thriving and growing documentary scene.
