Kanta Komuniti: Community Filmmaking Workshop
In partnership with Yayasan Hasanah and supported by Perak State Park Corporation, MyDocs had the pleasure of crossing state borders to Gerik to organise a documentary filmmaking workshop with selected communities from Perak. The program consisted of 3 workshops held between July - September 2019 where participants learnt everything from pre-production, production and post-production. At the end of the course, each groups produced their very own short documentaries relating to issues within their communities. To view their work please head to: bit.ly/KantaKomunitiVideos

Demi Ilmu Nyawa Dipertaruhkan
This film was produced by the participants from Kampung Bersia/Bongor who wanted to highlight the growing epidemic of fatal motorbike accidents involving minors in their area. Due to the secluded nature of the schools, students do not have access to public transportation and turn to motorbikes as a way to commute despite the proven inclining numbers of accidents amongst their peers. This short documentary explores the tragic side of those affected and what could be done to solve this issue in the future.
