Thank you to all those that attended the 'Going Beyon a one-off Documentary: Using Multimedia Tools' workshop with Olivier Pollet, in collaboration with FreedomFilmFest2018 and supported by FINAS.
In this workshop, Olivier took the participants through the filmmaking journey starting from research to execution, to delivery. He spoke about core questions to ask ourselves before jumping into multimedia potential. What is the nature of my project? Who is the intended audience? How can they access what I created? What do I want to achieve with this project? The answers to these questions are essential in helping filmmakers create a lifespan for their films that goes beyond their airing dates. Tools such as social medias & online video platforms can be used as an apparatus to build repositories of knowledge for communities for educational purposes.
